how to extend hard drive space windows 10

in above video i will explain "how to increase local disk space in windows 10,8 & 7 without formatting and without loosing your data"

Of course, with help of Disk Management, you can manage your partition even though there is limitation for some of its features. However, for some advanced users, these features can't satisfy their needs of allocating free space, converting dynamic disk to basic disk, migrating OS to SSD or Making bootable CD. Besides, not every one is familiar with Disk Management.

so,i used "AOMEI Partition Assistant" in this video.you can download this software from http://sh.st/6uYky

•Before you do

1. Make sure there is unallocated space locating on the same hard disk with the partition that you want to extend. If there's no unallocated space, you should shrink partition to generate unallocated space.2. Close all running programs on the partition which you wan to extend.3. Do not forcibly terminate the tasks or cut off the power.

•Why do you need to resize partition?

Resizing partition means to change the size of a partition as you like, either extend it or shrink it. But when you shrink a partition, you can at most shrink it to the size of its used space so that you can use the partitions with more flexibility. For example, you can store applications or files on any one of the partitions. If the partition is running out of space, you can extend it with the space shrunk from other partitions. Besides, you can create new partition with the room get from other partitions.

•Notes for safe partitioning

1. For important data, it's better to be habituated to create a backup. You can use free backup software - AOMEI Backupper Standard to backup it.2. When AOMEI Partition Assistant is moving data, please do NOT rashly end the process or force the program shutdown.3. In the process of partitioning, please make sure your computer is in enough charged in case of power off in the middle of the process.4. Before performing any operation, it is recommended to check errors and defragment on the partition or disk.
